UNESCO said the number of dead in 11 years, journalists
Over the past 11 years in the world were killed about 930 journalists, the press service of UNESCO.
“For the past 11 years, nearly 930 journalists were killed for open information to the public”, — is spoken in the message.
It is noted that the average is one death every four days. In nine of ten cases the perpetrators remain unpunished.
November 2 marks the international day to end impunity for crimes against journalists.
