One of the leading dictionaries of the English language Collins English Dictionary called the phrase of 2017, the expression “fake news” (fake news), CNBC reports.

It is noted that the frequency of use of this phrase in 2016 increased by 365%. The expression gained popularity due to the fact that they are often used by the President of the United States Donald trump.

The phrase “fake news” version of the dictionary refers to as a “false, often sensational information, which is distributed under the guise of news reports”.

Specifies that this expression will be included in the next printed version of the dictionary.

In December 2016 the Austrian scientists chose the word of the year word of the 51 letters, which is almost impossible to pronounce.
