The SC said that the curator of the project of construction of the prison “Kresty-2” in St. Petersburg received the money from the head of two construction companies.

The investigative Committee opened a criminal case against the former Deputy Director of the FSIN Nikolay Barinov about the bribe, said on the Agency’s website. Barinov oversaw the construction of the insulator 4 thousand jobs in the Kolpino district of St. Petersburg.

According to the investigation, Barinov demanded at least 12% of all payments for the construction of the insulator is received on the account of the company.

The investigators believe that Barinov has received several bribes totaling 110 million rubles in the period from October 2007 to December 2012.

Barinov, as stated by the investigation, “exposed and arrested,” the measure is not yet elected.
