Despite the fact that a journalist Ksenia Sobchak is known to almost all Russians to vote for her in the presidential election in March 2018 ready only 8 percent of citizens. This is evidenced by data survey of the national center for the study of public opinion (VTSIOM).
During recent poll sociologists have found that the name Sobchak familiar with 98 percent of respondents, of them about her plans to run for President you know 75 percent. However, only 8 percent of Russians are ready to vote. The highest ranking journalist in Moscow and St. Petersburg (16 percent). 69 per cent said that it had no political prospects, and only 6 percent believe that there is.
Among the respondents, the attitude of the reporter mostly negative. So, positively spoke of her 20 percent of Russians, and 64% negatively. Speaking about the emotions which are evoked by the journalist, 35 percent of respondents admitted that they care about. Another 27 percent noted that treat her with distrust, 23% — with antipathy.
Slightly more than a quarter of the poll (26 per cent) believe that Sobchak is generally no positive qualities. Among its advantages were the most popular straightforwardness, intelligence and appearance. Each of them called the 5 percent of citizens. Its main disadvantage 10 percent of respondents classified the manner of behavior and communication, 8% obsession, 4 percent — the desire to “sell themselves”.
Target audience Sobchak — youth, inhabitants of capitals and megacities, and also all those who do not see their own representatives among active politicians, said the General Director of VTSIOM Valery Fedorov. According to him, the older generation refers to it negatively, people aged 25 to 34 are more open to talking about it.
The survey was conducted on 21 and 22 October 2017. It was attended by 1.2 thousand Russians in different cities of the country.
