The girl’s parents, torn by dogs in the capital of Dagestan, the city and the Republic will pay three million rubles. This decision was made by the Soviet district court of Makhachkala. On Tuesday, October 31, reports Regnum.
The parents of the deceased child sued for compensation for moral damage in the amount of 100 million rubles — 50 million rubles for father and mother. As defendants was the administration of Makhachkala city administration, utilities, government, the Ministry of Finance of Dagestan and the Republican Committee of veterinary medicine.
The authorities unanimously opposed action. Nevertheless, the court decided in favor of the girl’s parents. As stated by the lawyer of the family, high amount of compensation requested that “the authorities of both the country and Makhachkala drew attention to the existing in the economy of the capital of Dagestan problem.”
Nine-year-old resident of Makhachkala, was killed by multiple bites of stray dogs on the territory of Leninsky district near his home on February 19 this year. On this fact in relation to the management of urban municipal management was initiated a criminal case about negligence, entailed on imprudence death of the person. In Makhachkala started the mass shooting of stray dogs.
