The plane EMERCOM arrived in Norway to help in the search for Mi-8

The plane Il-76 EMERCOM of Russia flew to Norway to assist in the search for the missing at Svalbard helicopter Mi-8, informs RIA “news”.

The task force consists of divers-rescuers state Central airmobile rescue team “Centrospas” and Center for rescue operations at particular risk “Leader” of EMERCOM.

Earlier it was reported that emergency workers flew to Norway to search for Mi-8.

Russian Mi-8 helicopter crashed in Svalbard on 26 October. On Board were eight people, including three employees of the research Institute of the Arctic and Antarctic.
