A criminal case was opened into the death of two people as a result of cotton air-gas mixture in a residential building in the city of Rubtsovsk in Altai Krai. This is with reference to the press service of the regional investigation Department of the TFR reports “Interfax”.
It is noted that the case was opened under part 3 of article 109 of the Russian criminal code (“Causing death on imprudence to two persons”).
According to investigators, on Saturday at about 23:45 local time (19:45 GMT) in an apartment in one-storey houses Rubtsovsk occurred cotton gas-air mixture.
In the apartment were found the bodies of two people: 60-the summer owner of the house and his 49-year-old concubine.
According to preliminary data, the cause of cotton was a violation in the operation of the cylinder.

It is also noted that the house was not gasified, and his tenants used the gas in cylinders.
