BELGRADE, October 28. /TASS/. Ford made a Saturday morning hitting the pedestrians in the centre of Belgrade on the main street of the city — Knez Mikhailova. The car drove on the pedestrian street and demolished several street cafes, injured two people.
According to the channel RTS, the incident occurred around 07:00 morning (08:00 GMT) the man in the car tried to chase passers-by. Agency TANJUG, citing eyewitness reports that the driver was drunk. He was beaten by a group of young people, and then he tried to run over them by car.
As a result, suffered 21-year-old girl and 30-the summer driver of the car, they were both taken to the Clinical centre. In addition, the violator is detained for 48 hours, the police on behalf of the prosecution is studying the video from the scene.
The Minister of internal Affairs of Serbia nebojša stefanović said that the incident is not related to terrorism.
“At the moment nothing indicates that in this case there is a link to terrorism, but we are investigating all versions”, — said the Minister.
