MOSCOW, October 28. /TASS/. New US sanctions against the military-industrial complex of Russia can have a negative impact on Moscow’s cooperation with foreign States in the military-technical sphere. This was stated by TASS program Director of the Foundation of the club “Valdai” Dmitry Suslov.

The threat in this sector

“That list is now published, painful hits on the prospects of military-technical cooperation of Russia with foreign States, including Turkey, Saudi Arabia and other countries, because it includes leading Russian companies of the military-industrial defense sector, such companies as “Almaz-Antey”, NGO “Alloy”, “rostec”, “MiG”, “Sukhoi”, “Tupolev”, i.e. businesses that do play a key role in the development of Russian arms and military equipment, he said. – The problem here is that U.S. sanctions are extraterritorial in nature, and those foreign companies, who are developing cooperation with the “Rosoboronexport”, or “Diamond-Antaeus” or “Kalashnikov” or “Rostec” also can fall under us sanctions, and this, indeed, can cause a narrowing of military-technical cooperation with Russia.”
