MOSCOW, October 24. /TASS/. Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin did not rule out that it will nominate its candidate for the post of mayor in the elections of 2018. He reported about it in interview to the newspaper “Vedomosti”.
“With the big share of probability it is possible to say that Yes, although we still have to wait for the announcement of the election campaign,” he said, answering the question about intention to run again for mayor.
He stressed that he considers it his duty to finish the job in the capital: in particular, to complete health care reform, to continue the subway construction and transport communications.
Commenting on statements of some experts about his possible appointment to the post of Prime Minister, the mayor stressed that it does not discuss rumors. “I have no desire to change their current position,” he said.
