In the Kremlin told about the lack of plans for the 15th anniversary of “Nord-OST”

The graph of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin no events dedicated to the 15th anniversary of terrorist act on Dubrovka, according to the press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov. His words on Monday, October 23, the correspondent “Tapes.ru”.

A Kremlin spokesman also recalled that on 3 September in Russia celebrates the Day of memory of victims of terrorists. “This is the day when we remember and honor the memory of those who tragically died in this inhuman act of terrorism”, — said Peskov.

On 23 October 2002 a group of forty armed militants took hostages in the Moscow House of culture on Dubrovka. They booby-trapped room and over two days held 916 spectators and participants of the musical “Nord-OST”, as well as employees of DC. The terrorists demanded the withdrawal of Russian troops from Chechnya.

Three days later, the men were freed in a special operation, the militants destroyed. The victims were 130 people, including 10 children. 125 were killed in the assault, five were killed by the terrorists.
