Skvortsova has announced changes in the rules of clinical examination

MOSCOW, 21 Feb — RIA Novosti. Some groups will undergo a medical examination more often — every two years, said the Minister of health of Russia Veronika Skvortsova.

The head of the Ministry of health noted that children receive screenings each year, adults — every three years.

“From January 1, for certain age groups it will be every two years. Free checkups for the whole group of noncommunicable diseases, and even risk factors”, — said Skvortsova on the margins of the conference on non-communicable diseases.

Earlier, the Ministry reported that in 2018 the order of examination will be more targeted. The screening will be conducted to identify chronic non-communicable diseases, in particular cervical cancer, breast cancer and colorectal cancer.

It is also planned to change the procedure for medical examination of child. Canceled examinations in educational institutions, research of level of glucose in the blood, ultrasound of the heart and fluorography of the lungs.
