Navalny was released from detention center

Opposition leader Alexei Navalny was released after serving 20 days of administrative detention for repeated violation of rules for holding rallies. About this he wrote on his page on Instagram on Sunday, October 22.

“I’m out. 20 days read 20 books, learned a few words in Kyrgyz, drank 80 gallons of tea and at least 60 times listen to the song “Give me your word because I am a toastmaster” on the radio”, — the oppositionist noted. Navalny added that he is ready to work and intend the evening to speak at a meeting with supporters in Astrakhan.

As reported “Interfax” a source familiar with the situation, the politician was released from the detention center early in the morning.

October 2, the Simonovsky court of Moscow arrested opposition leader for 20 days for “repeated calls to participate in uncoordinated public event.”

An unauthorized rally, organized by the staff of the policy, was held on 29 September in Nizhny Novgorod. There Bulk not included, as the morning of the same day were detained and released only in the evening from the police station, however, the court found that the opposition by using their own resources called for the holding of this event and participate in it.
