Navalny was released after 20 days of arrest

Moscow. 22 Oct. INTERFAX.RU — Opposition leader Alexei Navalny was released after 20 days of administrative arrest, assigned to him for repeated violation of rules for holding rallies and demonstrations.

“Early in the morning, Navalny was released from the detention center, where he was serving an administrative arrest”, — have informed “Interfax” a source familiar with the situation.

As the correspondent of “Interfax”, the detention center on the street Mnevniki in Moscow, where Navalny, gathered about a dozen journalists. The street itself was closed to vehicles, with traffic police officers who left the institution at about 9:40. The guard of opposition leader and one of the staff of Navalny’s campaign staff, also waiting for him at the detention center, without comment, left at 9:30.
