First Deputy head of the presidential administration of Russia Sergei Kiriyenko noted the success of the educational program of the XIX world festival of youth and students (WFMS). Chairman of the organizing Committee summarized the work of the forum at the final briefing, which was held in the main media center in Sochi.
Answering a question of the correspondent “Tapes.ru” on how and what Russia will be able to rely on foreign participants of the festival in the medium and long term, Kiriyenko said that “these people have no one can instill the idea that Russia is an aggressive power, the evil Empire, all seeking to capture and enslave”. “Like them would never happen, for these words guys, no one can fool you,” said he.
Kiriyenko also reminded of the global nature of today’s world. “The most important, ground-breaking things can be done only together, only in cooperation, only in horizontal cooperation”, — he stressed.
Chairman of the organizing Committee added that it is possible Russian and foreign participants WFMS-2017. “What projects they have in this regard will be born — I do not know. It’s their choice. But I do believe that the projects will appear and will be implemented,” he said.
First Deputy head of administration of the President also drew attention to the success of the educational program WFMS. It held 818 educational events involving 1325 speakers. Daily lectures and discussions were attended by from eight to 11 thousand participants.
XIX world festival of youth and students was held in the Sochi Olympic Park from 14 to 22 October. According to the organizing Committee, the program was attended by about 25 thousand people from 188 countries of the world.
