The Russian Embassy responded to the accusations in “hostilities” against the United States

The Russian Embassy in Washington published a statement in which he accused the US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley in the outbreak of “hostilities” against U.S. “interference” in the elections of the us President in 2016.

“Repeatedly and at all levels, we declared: Russia does not interfere in the internal Affairs of States,” the Embassy said. It noted that beginning in November 2015, it was proposed to Washington to hold bilateral consultations on cyber threats, but the response readiness on the American side the Embassy has not seen.

“I would like to remind the colleague, Nikki Haley, and that those who interfered in the electoral processes in the United States, and the most open and unceremonious manner, it would have to be officially declared allies and friends. They campaigned in favor of the democratic candidate and expressed their concerns with the possibility of coming to power of the Republican candidate”, the statement says.

The Russian Embassy in Washington said that, despite all the unfriendly moves, Russia all these years, has consistently advocated a return to normality in relations with the United States. “We are ready for them to build on an equal and mutually respectful basis. Open to a Frank dialogue with the United States for any issues on the bilateral and international agenda, to search for common approaches to solving shared problems”, — stated in the message.

19 Oct Hayley said that Russia has used “military action” against the United States, “intervening” in the presidential election in that country in 2016. She added that Moscow makes such operations around the world and laid the blame for the current tensions between the United States and Russia on the Kremlin.

Russia has repeatedly accused of meddling in the US presidential election. American journalists and officials claimed that “Russian hackers” allegedly kidnapped the correspondence of the Democrats and published in the Internet and tried to get into the electronic vote counting system. Moscow denies such accusations, including at the highest level.
