The annual contest National Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year Contest accepts works from photographers from around the world. Pictures compete in four categories: “wildlife”, “Landscapes”, “Aerial photography” “Underwater photography”.

The editors of the “News Mail.Ru” publishes the most vivid pictures of the contestants.
