Zhirinovsky called Sobchak a dummy candidate

LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky said that Ksenia Sobchak does not have sufficient experience to qualify for the presidency. His words leads RIA Novosti on Thursday, October 19.

“Of course, you can run, but it is clear that there must be a certain set of qualities that must be behind some kind of historical era… Need to work at different jobs, and need for elections to be. It is what the election was? On any ever has, no one did not vote for it,” said liberal Democrat at a meeting with participants of the XIX world festival of youth and students in Sochi.

The politician stressed that the country should be run by professionals. “Anyone can nominate themselves, and how to collect two million signatures? Obviously will not work. A dummy candidate to omit other candidates,” he said.

Earlier on Thursday, Communist party leader Gennady Zyuganov, commenting on the intention Sobchak to participate in the presidential elections in March 2018, pointed to her lack of respect for fellow citizens. According to him, the presenter called the Russians are genetic scum.

Sobchak announced the decision to participate in the election of the President the night before. She stressed that the responsibility belongs to any actions in the field of society.

In August, Zhirinovsky said that he intends for the sixth time to run for President. The founder and the permanent leader of LDPR participated in the presidential campaigns in 1991, 1996, 2000, 2008 and 2012. The best result of liberal Democrat demonstrated in 2008 — then for his candidacy voted 9.35 percent of the voters.
