In Omsk the pensioner got 13 boxes of hawthorn and hundreds of liters of alcohol

In Omsk, the police detained the pensioner in Toyota, in which they found 13 boxes of tincture of hawthorn, 360 liters of ethanol and 500 packs of cigarettes, reports on Wednesday, October 18, “Superomsk”.

All of these products were not tax stamps, and their carrier — required documents.

Guards 60-year-old man explained that everything seized was made by him for personal consumption.

On 9 October in Russia expired temporary ban on trade of non-food alcohol-containing production “fortress” above 25 degrees, which was introduced and has been extended several times after the mass poisoning of inhabitants of Irkutsk in the bath concentrate “Hawthorn” in December of 2016. Then killed 78 people.

On 13 October the Deputy public Prosecutor of the country Ivan Semchishin confirmed the indictment against two residents of Irkutsk, are involved in manufacturing a deadly substitute. The case was investigated on charges of possession and sale does not meet the requirements of product safety, resulting in the death of consumers (part 2 of article 238 of the criminal code). Materials are directed to court.
