Russians believe that to provide for the family needs a man
The majority of respondents were in favour of equal responsibility in the upbringing of children.
MOSCOW, October 17. /TASS/. Most Russians believe that the responsibility for the material support of the family lies with the man. This is evidenced by data survey of the national center for the study of public opinion (VTSIOM).
“When it comes to the role of breadwinner in the family: 54% of respondents place the responsibility for the material support of the family on the male and 1% female, 43% believe that to work (to bring income into the family) have both husband and wife”, — it is told in message VTSIOM.
The couple should be equal responsibilities when cleaning the house, I think 74% of Russians. Upbringing of children the couple should do together believe 84% of respondents.
The survey polled 1.8 thousand adult Russians with 1 to 3 October. Data weighted for probability of selection and socio-demographic parameters. For a given sample size the maximum error with 95% probability does not exceed 2.5%.
