Pamfilova spoke about the role of the CEC in the resignations of governors
According to the head of the Central election Commission, some taken from the posts of heads of regions used administrative resources in the elections.
Moscow. 17 Oct. INTERFAX.RU — Chairman of the Central election Commission of the Russian Federation Ella Pamfilova said that “had a hand” to held in September-October rotation of governors of the Russian regions.
“I believe that in many regions I, too, had a hand. In some regions we tracked violations and for the first campaign and the second (the single voting day 2016 and 2017). This dimension we presented to the President, I complained of some governors said that they used administrative resource,” — said Pamfilova at the world festival of youth and students.
She noted that the Parliament passed the changes as left “a number of people with whom it was difficult, which, unfortunately, had to overcome the administrative resource”.
The head of the Central election Commission of the Russian Federation expressed the hope that the appointed acting governors ahead of the elections “will show itself in all its glory, and voters living in these regions will be able to choose “the cat in the bag”, and consciously making choices.”
Since the beginning of autumn in Russia was replaced by the heads of the eleven regions. On 25 September, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on early termination of powers of the Governor of the Samara region Nikolay Merkushkin. Then was terminated the authority of the Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region Valery Shantsev, Governor of Nenets Autonomous area Igor Koshin, head of the Krasnoyarsk region Viktor Tolokonsky, the head of Dagestan Ramazan abdulatipova, the Governor of Primorsky Krai Vladimir Miklushevsky, the Governor of the Oryol region Vadim Patomskogo, head of the Novosibirsk region Vladimir Gorodetsky, the head of Omsk region Viktor Nazarov, Governor of the Ivanovo region Pavel Konkov, the Governor of the Pskov region Andrei Turchak.
