Criminal case about deliberate bankruptcy “VIM-Avia”
Moscow. 17 Oct. INTERFAX.RU — On the fact of premeditated bankruptcy of the airline “VIM-Avia” criminal case is brought, have informed “Interfax” on Tuesday the press service of the Investigative Committee (SKR).
“The Volga investigative management on transport of Investigatory Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on the fact of premeditated bankruptcy of LLC “Airline “VIM-Avia” on signs of the crime provided by article 196 of the criminal code (Deliberate bankruptcy)”, — stated in the message.
According to the CCJ, given the impossibility of satisfaction of requirements of creditors, in order to create favourable conditions for assessing the financial condition to creditors and the public authorities of the General Director and other persons from among the owners and the management of the airline instructed the accountants to take actions aimed at distortion of the financial statements, “hiding in the reporting of high rates of accounts payable, reflected in the report small profits instead of present loss by entering into the account of false information about the date of the adoption of the cost accounting and reflection of transactions revenue from sale of air transportation, which have not yet been realized.”
“According to investigators, individuals from among the management and owners of LLC “Airline “VIM-Avia”, recognizing that the airline is in a precarious financial and economic condition, concluded in 2016 and 2017 is clearly disadvantageous transactions, including those aimed at withdrawal of assets abroad in favor of affiliated organizations”, — stated in the message.
