Twitter, the company gave to the U.S. Senate more than 200 items associated with the Russian Federation accounts

Company Twitter has passed the US Senate Committee on intelligence of the 201 names of the account alleged to have been associated with Russia and was used to influence the presidential election in 2016. On it informs AP referring to sources.

According to the Agency, data account were transferred earlier this week. If not reported, were removed by Twitter posts from these accounts. It is noted that the company began to actively cooperate with the Committee after it was criticized for lack of seriousness about the investigation of Russia’s influence on the political process in the United States.

Earlier, CNN conducted its own investigation and said that Russia interfered in American politics not only through Facebook and Twitter, but also via YouTube, Tumblr and even via popular not so long ago mobile games.
