The FSB and the Russian interior Ministry has revealed and stopped activity of the supporters of the terrorist organization “Islamic state” (IG, is prohibited in Russia), reports on Saturday “Interfax” with reference to information center of the National antiterrorist Committee (NAC).
On 13 and 14 October in Moscow and Makhachkala were detained four members of the so-called “sleeper cell” of this organization. All detainees are natives of Dagestan.
“Detainees give a detailed confession about his contacts with the emissaries, on the preparation of terrorist acts, improvised explosive devices and bladed weapons on the territory of the Republic of Dagestan, in places of mass stay of people during large public events, as well as plans attempt on the life of law enforcement officers and military personnel”, — is told in the message.
It also indicates that in Makhachkala was discovered two caches in which there were three ready-to-use improvised explosive devices.
“On this fact the investigating authorities solved a question on excitation of criminal cases”, — concluded in the NAC.
