The acting head of Dagestan promised to account for every ruble of budget

Acting head of Dagestan Vladimir Vasilev has addressed to deputies of the state Duma with a request to increase financial support of the region. It is reported TASS on Wednesday, October 11.

“The phrase “stop feeding” is not personal, it’s a cliché, it is. Realizing this, I want to make a proposal to increase the support of Dagestan and I promise you, if you deem it necessary, [I’m] ready with some regularity to account in the hall, in the Committee, which I very much respect, on the expenditure date that is selected, [is accountable],” said Vasilyev, speaking at the plenary session of the lower house of Parliament.

He noted that already outlined its position on this issue to the colleagues from the Republic’s leadership. The acting head of the Governor also stressed that the financing will help the region in the near future “become a donor”.

6 October Vladimir Vasilyev dismissed the Republic’s government and administration and the head of government of the region.

Vasiliev was replaced by Ramazan Abdulatipov as head of Dagestan by decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on 3 October. The head of state during the meeting with the new regional Director called it a “political heavyweight”.

Abdulatipov, head of Daghestan in 2013, announced the intention to leave the post on September 27. The main reason for this decision 71-year-old politician called the age. He also said that his resignation implies a General “greening” of personnel.

In just the past two weeks, leaders have been replaced in ten regions of the country.
