Gorbachev refused to go to the West and decided to stay in Russia

Former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev commented on the view that it is more popular in Western countries than in Russia. His words leads RIA Novosti.

“I’m not going to travel to the West, I live in Russia,” — said Gorbachev at the presentation of his new book “Remain optimistic” in the bookstore “Moscow”.

Earlier it was reported that Gorbachev, in response to a request to comment on events in Catalonia, where was not recognized by the Spanish authorities for a referendum on independence, said that in Russia “a lot of their Catalonia”.
