The failed bomber was given a life in the UK

The Royal court of the city of Winchester (Hampshire, UK) was sentenced to life imprisonment 29-the summer inhabitant of Birmingham Zahid Hussain. About it reports BBC News.

In may this year, Hussain was found guilty of preparing a terrorist attack. In 2015 he made a homemade bomb from a pressure cooker, shrapnel, and gunpowder. Device the attacker had planned to lay under the railway track.

However, the judge sentenced him to life imprisonment with the possibility to appeal for parole after 15 years.

September 15 at rush hour in a subway station Parsons Green, located in West London, the explosion occurred. Eyewitnesses reported that the bomb detonated in a bucket left in the package in the train. The attack wounds, injuries and burns received 22.

British authorities have stated that they consider the incident as a terrorist attack. Responsibility for attack was assumed by the terrorist group “Islamic state” (banned in Russia).
