Border guards detained crossing the border with Russia as Ukrainian soldier

Russian border guards stop Ukrainian troops, who crossed the state border on the “Lugansk direction.” He was detained by employees of FSB on the Belgorod and Voronezh regions.

As reported by “Interfax” with reference to the press service of border Department of the FSB of Russia in the Belgorod and Voronezh regions, in the direction of Lugansk, was detained the man who illegally crossed the state border with Russia. He had soldiers of the Ukrainian army.

The press service did not specify why the man crossed the border. The circumstances of a violation are established.

Day 9 of October the assistant to the head of the State border service of Ukraine Oleg Slobodyan in his Facebook wrote that on the border in Sumy region of Ukraine with Russia, Russian border guards “force was captured” two Ukrainian border guards. Slobodyan claimed that they did not let the Consul, and the court sentenced the detainees to two months in custody.

2 Oct, also at the Russian-Ukrainian border, near the village of Tetkino Glushkovskogo district of the Kursk region the border guards had to engage in battle with armed men. Illegally crossed the state border, refused to produce documents to the patrol and opened fire. As a result one border guard was killed. Of the two offenders made up, and the other managed to hold.

In fact the incident a criminal case was initiated under article 317 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (an encroachment on life of the employee of law enforcement body), and part 2 of article 222 and 222.1 (illegal circulation of weapons and ammunition, explosive devices, committed by group of persons on preliminary arrangement).

In early September, Russian border guard Ruslan Pereguda crossed the river on the border with Lithuania and was detained by security forces of the state. The next month he spent behind bars after a local court decided to release him and send him back to Russia, pointed out the newspaper “Lithuanian courier”.
