The writer Boris Akunin (Grigory Chkhartishvili) has announced that it has completed a series of works about Erast Fandorin. About this he wrote in his Facebook.

“Inform all interested parties that this 8th of the tenth month 29 year of the Heisei era finished the last book in the series “the adventures of Erast Fandorin”,” the he said, adding that the novel should be out February 8, 2018, in the 20-th anniversary of the publication of the first fedorinsky books, the novel “Azazel”.

According to the writer, there is still a lot of work — “editing, catching “fleas”, design, proofreading, but that’s technology.”

A series of novels about detective Erast Fandorin began in 1998. Pieces of this cycle in total have been translated into more than 30 languages. The novel “Azazel”, “Turkish gambit” and “Councilor” were filmed.
