Form of certificate of sex change and the procedure for its issuance have developed in the Ministry of health of Russia. The draft order posted on the Federal portal of normative legal acts.
The explanatory Memorandum noted that the laws of Russia allow to make changes to the personal documents on the basis of certificate about change of sex, but the official form developed for the latter was not. For this reason, in most cases, the Registrar shall refuse applying for this citizens.
The document in protected form, will issue a medical Commission consisting of a psychiatrist, sexologist and psychologist, under the chairmanship of the doctor of the institution, his Deputy or authorized head of Department. To do this, you must no less than fifteen years observed at the psychiatrist.
