Died on the Russian permanent representative to the agriculture organization of the UN

MOSCOW, 7 Feb — RIA Novosti. Russia’s permanent representative to the Food and agriculture organization of the UN (FAO) in Rome Alexander Gorban died the day before after a long illness, was announced on Saturday, the Russian foreign Ministry.

“We lost not only a bright professional who has made a significant contribution to the Russian economic diplomacy, but also responsive, responsive friend and companion, charming and bright person. We mourn and Express our condolences to the family. The bright memory of Gorban Alexander Vasilevich will remain forever in our hearts”, — is spoken in the message published on the website of the Russian foreign Ministry.

In the course of its diplomatic activities Gorban worked at the Embassy in Sri Lanka, the permanent representation to the EU in Brussels, in the Main personnel Directorate of the USSR Ministry of foreign Affairs. Almost 25 years of his life he devoted to the economic cooperation Department. The rally was held in DES degrees from an Advisor to the Director of the Department, was a member of the Board. The Ambassador to the FAO, he was appointed in April 2014.
