Putin appointed new Russian Ambassador in Guatemala

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on appointment of Alexander Chocholackova Ambassador of Russia in Guatemala. The corresponding document was published on the official portal of legal information.

“To appoint Chocholackova Alexander Nikolaevich, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Guatemala,” reads the document.

A second decree Putin was removed from this post by Nikolai Babich, who served as Ambassador to Guatemala in 2011.
