Kuban authorities proposed to establish the all-Russian Cossack army

KRASNODAR, 5 Dec — RIA Novosti. Kuban authorities proposed to unite the Cossacks in the Russian army, said during the first national forum of Cossack societies, who on Thursday takes place in Krasnodar, the army ataman of Kuban Cossack army, the Deputy Governor of Krasnodar region Nikolay Doluda.

In the plenary meeting of the first all-Russian forum of Cossack communities took part the head of Federal Agency on Affairs of nationalities Igor Barinov, the presidential envoy in the Central Federal district, Chairman of the Council under the RF President for the Cossacks, Alexander Beglov, Governor Veniamin Kondratiev, ataman of the Kuban Cossack army Nikolay Doluda.

“For the first time in 27 years of going to such a forum. Together we must develop a common approach for the development of the Cossack societies, organization of civil service, the Cossack education, forming the economic base of the Cossack communities. Cossacks — the most Patriotic part of society,” — said in his speech Doluda.

According to him, it is important that the leadership of the country in full force to use the potential of the Cossacks. Doluda proposed to establish a Russian registered Cossack army.

As notes a press-service of administration of Kuban, during the forum, which will be held on 5-6 October, the Council of atamans of the Cossack military societies, the meeting of the Council under the RF President for the Cossacks, heads of standing commissions of the Council and the atamans of Cossack troops.

According to the regional authorities, the forum will be the first event at the Federal level with the participation of representatives of all 11 military Cossack societies and associations of the Cossacks, representatives of the presidential administration and the government staff, Federal and regional authorities responsible for the implementation of the development strategy of the state policy concerning the Russian Cossacks.
