18 schools of the Moscow region was among the best in Russia. The ranking of educational institutions on Wednesday, October 4, was published by the RIA Novosti news Agency with reference to the Moscow center for continuous mathematical education.
The experts chose the 500 schools that have demonstrated high educational results in the 2016-2017 school year. The suburbs included in the ranking, in particular, boarding school of natural and mathematical direction name Kapitza, gymnasia №12, №9, №3, Lyceum of scientific and engineering profile the Queen and others.
The best in Russia as the presidential physical-mathematical Lyceum # 239 in Saint-Petersburg, second place went to the Republican Lyceum for gifted children, Saransk, third place went to the Moscow school №179.
Earlier Wednesday, the Governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobiev on the eve of teacher’s Day and presented awards to the best teachers and educators in the region. He noted that only the suburbs are 47 thousand teachers.
August 24 local authorities provided a list of the hundred best schools in the region at the end of last school year.
