ROSTOV-ON-DON, October 3 — RIA Novosti, Yulia Nikulina. Severo-the Caucasian district military court on Tuesday sentenced to 24 years imprisonment Arthur Bekbolatova accused of murder in Dagestan, Hero of Russia Magomed Nurbagandov, the correspondent of RIA Novosti news from the courtroom.
The state Prosecutor demanded to sentence Bekbolatova to life imprisonment. Protection, according to the representative of the court, asked “not to punish severely”.
“Finally appoint Bekbolatova on set of crimes by partial addition of 24 years of imprisonment in a penal colony with restriction of freedom for two years”, — announced the verdict, the presiding judge.
As reported by SC of the Russian Federation, Arthur Bekbolatov and Aziz of Jamalutdinov in 2016, joined the illegal armed formation, and then the gang under the leadership of Magomed Alimbekova. According to investigators, on 10 July, they, along with other bandits near the village of Sergokala attacked five tourists and shot two of them. Among those killed were a police officer Magomed Nurbagandov and his brother Abdurashid.
