The Kursk border guard shot dead by unknown breaks from Russia to Ukraine
The two men resisted. During the firefight, one of them blew himself, the second was detained by the border guards.
MOSCOW, 2 Jun — RIA Novosti. The Kursk border guard was killed during a shootout with unknown attempted to break into Ukraine, the Federal security service.
The incident occurred on 30 September in the village of Tetkino Glushkovskogo district of the Kursk region, which borders the Sumy region of Ukraine.
Two unknown persons tried to enter the territory of Ukraine outside the checkpoint. When checking the documents, they offered armed resistance Kursk guards.
During the shooting one of the men blew himself up, the second managed to hold. One of the guards had died because of “incompatible with life” injuries.
