WASHINGTON, 2 Jun — RIA Novosti. Grouping “Islamic state” has claimed responsibility for the shooting in Las Vegas, Reuters reports, citing the Agency close to the rebels.

The shooting occurred on Sunday evening local time at a music festival, which took place between the airport and hotel Mandalay Bay casino.

Killed more than 50 people, about 400 injured. During detention the offender committed suicide.

Shot was 64-year-old local resident Stephen Paddock. The man shot from the 32nd floor of the hotel complex Mandalay Bay Hotel for visitors of the festival. Before this, the Paddock did not come to the attention of police in Nevada. In his hotel room, where he lived from September 28, found at least ten weapons.
