Poland considered placing at least two U.S. divisions necessary for the defense
The Minister of defence of Poland considers that in the country for defense and to confront external threats, you must place at least two U.S. divisions. Earlier, the Polish Parliament decided to increase defence spending to 2.5% of GDP.

In September, the Polish Parliament approved an increase in defense spending. The document requires by 2020 to increase defense spending to 2.1% of GDP in 2020 to at least 2.5% of GDP. NATO does not require non-bloc countries to spend on defense more than 2%.
Macarevich then explained the extension of expenditure on the army response to the “threat from the East”. Russia “uses force to achieve its political goals,” he said.
