NASA astronauts tried to convince the American rapper that the Earth is round

MOSCOW, 30 Sep — RIA Novosti. Several former NASA astronauts tried to convince the American rapper B. o.B. that the Earth is round.

The American singer has launched a crowdfunding campaign on the online GoFundMe service; these funds he plans to purchase and launch a few satellites to use the collected data to determine exactly what actually is the shape of our planet.

According to the rapper, the earth may be flat, as in his pictures the horizon is no “bend”.

“Unable to save B. o.B. a lot of money — the Earth is round. I flew around it,” — wrote in his Twitter account American astronaut Terry VIRTs, who made a space flight in 2010 and 2014.

I can save BoB a lot of money – The Earth is round. I flew around it. https://t.co/F7qAovPEng @bobatl @BBCWorld

Verts was supported by another astronaut buzz Aldrin, made in 1966, 59 revolutions around the Earth on the ship “Gemini” and the second person to set foot on the moon after Neil Armstrong. “I was flying too. This is called the orbit: the curved path of a celestial object around a star, planet or moon,” he explained.

I did too. It’s called an orbit: the curved path of a celestial object around a star, planet, or moon. https://t.co/h8GQJadfxD

NASA astronaut Scott Kelly tweeted to B. o.B. demonstrating the sphericity of the Earth video shot during my work on the International space station. “To show you the roundness? Here you go. One full orbit around the Earth. Can send the collected funds for assistance in Puerto Rico?” he said.

Show you the curve? Here you go @bobatl! One full orbit around Earth. Maybe donate funds raised to #PuertoRicoRelief https://t.co/bhJSXfwYXL pic.twitter.com/rFAysS2clc
