The UN is investigating war crimes in Yemen

The Council on human rights, the UN decided to establish a special Commission to investigate war crimes in Yemen. About it reports Reuters.

The compromise was achieved after much debate between the representatives of the Arab countries and the Western powers. In the end, the decision was made by consensus without a vote. His delegation had already expressed agreement with the idea of forming a Commission that will deal with the establishment of the facts and circumstances of war crimes, and also identify those responsible for committing them.

In mid-August, human rights activists from Amnesty International accused Saudi Arabia, striking at the Yemeni cities of Sanaa, Aden and Taizu in the Commission of war crimes. According to representatives of the organization, the conflict has killed more than four thousand people, half of them civilians.
