North Korea will build an Intercontinental ballistic missile with a nuclear warhead, able to strike at US, “soon”. This opinion was expressed by Chairman of the joint chiefs of staff General Joseph Dunford, reports Global News.
In his opinion, North Korea currently represents the biggest, most pressing threat to the United States.
At the same time, according to Reuters, Dunford stressed that the us military has not yet discovered a burst of activity or preparation for an attack from Pyongyang.
On September 23 foreign Minister of the DPRK ri Yong Ho, speaking at a session of the UN General Assembly, said that North Korea’s possession of nuclear weapons is a means of self-defense.
Three weeks earlier it was reported that North Korean leader Kim Jong Ynu has already demonstrated the hydrogen bomb, which can be used on an Intercontinental ballistic missile as a warhead. A new bomb is introduced to the head of state during the inspection that he carried out at the Institute of nuclear research.
