Who left the post of Governor of Samara region Nikolai Merkushin said that in the near future in resignation are sent the heads of several regions. His words on Monday, September 25, reports RIA Novosti.
According to Merkushkin, about his impending dismissal “was a lot of talk” but the real relevance of the subject found only in mid-September. “There is reason to this decision was (…). Probably will be followed by decisions on other governors, I suppose, on a certain list,” — said the politician.
Earlier on Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin accepted the resignation of the Governor of the Samara region Merkushkin, who has written the application at own will. Acting head of the region was Dmitry Azarov. By another decree the President appointed merkoushkin his special representative for cooperation with the world Congress of Finno-Ugric peoples.
25 September, “Kommersant”, citing sources close to the presidential administration, announced a series of resignations of heads of regions. According to the newspaper, could be replaced by the heads of the 10 subjects. Including the sources named, and Samara oblast.
