Aircraft destroyed an ammunition dump IG in Deir ez-Zor

A large ammunition depot of the terrorist group “Islamic state” (IG, is prohibited in Russia) destroyed in the Syrian city of Deir ez-Zor in the airstrike. About it RIA Novosti said the source.

“The terrorists tried to contain the fire, but the aircraft struck a second accurate shot,” — said the Agency interlocutor.

Earlier on September 25, the official representative of the Ministry of defense of Russia Igor Konashenkov said that Russia did not inflict strikes on the positions of the “Democratic forces of Syria” (DSS), and bombs only strengthen the militants.

According to Konashenkov, the Russian side does not fix clashes between the DSS and the IG. Earlier, the “Democratic forces of Syria,” said Russian aircraft had struck at their positions in the area of a major gas field, located near Deir ez-Zor.

DSS — Alliance of Syrians and Kurds who are fighting with the militants of the terrorist organization “Islamic state” (IG, is prohibited in Russia) on the Eastern Bank of the Euphrates. They and the Syrian government forces supported by Russia are conducting separate operations against ISIS.
