At a fire in a hotel in the centre of Rostov-on-don, killed two people. On Thursday, September 21, reports TASS.
“In the work area on the fire in the room of the hotel discovered the corpse of a man,” said the Agency in a press-service of the southern regional emergency center of Russia.
Shortly before this message in the main Department of EMERCOM in the Rostov region has informed on death of the hotel receptionist. His body was found in the building.
Later it turned out that both victims were employees of the hotel — a man 30 years old and female.
Information about the fire was received in the Department on Thursday afternoon. At present the fire is localized on an area of about 800 square meters. Inside a 10-storey building burned completely, also the roof is damaged. Because of the fire damaged seven parked cars.
In nearby buildings, including a kindergarten, conducted the evacuation: on the street brought over 300 people. It also became known that the fire in the hotel spread to the roof of the don Cossack state Institute of food technology and business, but the fire was quickly extinguished.
In the Leninsky district of Rostov-on-don, where lit hotel, declared a state of emergency.
