The Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on international Affairs Alexei chepa (a just Russia), commenting on the statements of the ex-speaker of the Georgian Parliament Nino Burjanadze, said that he sees former President of the Republic no danger to Russia, and described the main role of Mikheil Saakashvili and his backers in the CIA destabilization of the situation in Ukraine.

Earlier Burjanadze in an interview with “Nezavisimaya Gazeta” said that the ex-President of Georgia, former Governor of the Odessa region, Saakashvili at the international level is “a major element of the project, which is controlled by the CIA.” The purpose of the project, she said, is to create Russia serious problems in 2018, in particular to take away from the world Cup and to exert influence on presidential elections, which will be held in 2018.

“Of course, no Saakashvili to influence the election of the President of the Russian Federation is unable,” said chepa RIA Novosti.

“For us, we understand that no effect, neither any political nor economic interests, the position of our country. First, the role and purpose of this man is absolutely clear — it’s a provocateur. Nothing more, nothing else for him there. All he is trying to do is to destabilize the situation in Ukraine”, — said the Deputy.

According to the parliamentarian, the role of Saakashvili is to destabilize the situation not only in Ukraine but also in Europe and on the border of Russia.

“But my opinion is that the challenge Saakashvili in the first place, which put him in front of his patrons in the CIA is to destabilize even more the situation in Ukraine. Perhaps even to create another hotbed of tension in Europe and to exacerbate the conflict on the border with Russia”, — said the chepa.
