In Britain detained a third suspect in connection with the terrorist attack in London
LONDON, Sep 19 — RIA Novosti, Denis Voroshilov. British police arrested a third suspect of involvement in the recent terrorist attack in the London underground, said Scotland Yard.
Earlier on suspicion of involvement in the attack were arrested two other young people.
Last Friday, during morning rush hour at the station Parsons Green in West London, an explosion occurred. The number of victims on Saturday has risen to 30 people, received no life-threatening wounds and burns. According to police, the improvised explosive device did not work in full force. This attack was the fifth in the UK for six months.
“Was made the third arrest. Suspect (of being involved in a terrorist attack) was arrested on Tuesday in Wales, in Newport. Detainee 25 years. The arrest was made under article 41 of the law on terrorism” — said by telephone RIA Novosti the representative of the police.
In the arrest, which occurred in 19.08 (21.08 GMT) in a private home, was attended by representatives of the counter-terrorism unit of Scotland Yard. At the place of residence of the suspect is being searched.
