The St. Petersburg statue was left without a head for his “daring” look

The police of St. Petersburg detained the man, which carried the head of the statue on the house Kirillov, considering that she looks at him “too cocky”. This was reported on the website of the press service GU MVD in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.

Indicated that on August 21 a 27-year-old man was hit by the statue’s head and took her own. The stolen item was found on him during a search.

In fact the incident a criminal case was initiated under part 1 of article 243 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (“Destruction or damage of cultural heritage objects of the Russian Federation”), noted in a press-service.

Kirillov house was built in the early XX century, later it was rebuilt. Since 2001, he is the object of cultural heritage and is of particular historical value.
