Putin and macron condemned the provocations of the DPRK

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his French counterpart Emmanuel macron during a telephone conversation condemned the provocative actions of the DPRK. On Friday, September 15, reports the Kremlin website.

Specifies that the conversation took place at the initiative of Paris.

“In the context of the situation on the Korean Peninsula, the leaders strongly condemned the provocative actions of the DPRK, flagrantly violating the requirements of the relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council”, — is spoken in the message.

The presidents stressed that the adequate reaction of the world community to the irresponsible steps of Pyongyang was adopted unanimously on 11 September 2375 resolution of the UN Security Council.

The leaders also discussed the Ukrainian crisis, noting the importance of full and strict compliance by parties to the conflict reached accords, including the so-called “school of the truce”. Putin called for Rules to support the Russian initiative on the establishment of the UN mission to promote the protection of the Special monitoring mission of the OSCE in South-Eastern Ukraine.

In addition, there was a detailed exchange of views on the situation in Syria. Putin told French counterpart about achieved recently by the Syrian armed forces with the support of the aerospace defence forces of Russia the progress in the fight against terrorist groups in the country.

Earlier on Friday, 15 September, North Korea launched a rocket of unknown type from the area of Sunan in its capital Pyongyang to the East. On 3 September, the DPRK announced the successful underground test of a hydrogen warhead for Intercontinental ballistic missiles.
