In the House of Gogol opens exhibition of photographer Jana Shriver “reading Lessons”. The exposition will tell about what books people are reading, living in Russia, what filled their lives, what they want and what you dream about.

I just came to the strangers who read books in the movies, in a Park, in a long-distance train, commuter trains, and other public places and invited them to participate in the project. If they said Yes, I took pictures and recorded a short interview in which they shared their thoughts with me about life and about books that I read.Jan Schreyer

The outcome of the project was the exhibition of photographs.

In the framework of the exhibition NAMM Musikmesse that the sixth time will gather professionals of the music industry and music lovers from all over the world in the Park “Sokolniki” will host the II international festival of orchestras and ensembles of the Grand Show Band. Visitors will see parades, fashion shows and attend master-classes of Russian and foreign masters of orchestral and instrumental genres.

Sunday on the Central square Park will host “battle of the bands”. Participation requires pre-registration on the exhibition website.

Probably all remember the excitement around the exhibition of paintings by Ivan Aivazovsky, open at the Tretyakov gallery in the past year. It presents 200 works from 17 museums and six private collections. The exhibition broke the record of the exhibition of Valentin Serov — on average it was attended by about five thousand people a day.

Meeting in the library № 4 is devoted to the 200 anniversary from the birthday of the famous painter of seascapes. The artist Polina Nechaeva will tell the guests about the life and work of Aivazovsky. ENEA completed a course on the history and architecture in the framework of the summer educational program. In the lecture, guests will know which buildings were the prototypes of important projects of ENEA, and what Parallels can be drawn between the pavilions and the famous buildings of the past.
