The Vatican has withdrawn from the U.S. suspect in the trafficking of child pornography diplomat

The Vatican has withdrawn from the U.S. of one of its diplomats suspected of trafficking child pornography. About it reports Reuters.

Minister of religion had already returned from Washington to the Vatican, the prosecution service is investigating the circumstances of the incident. The suspect’s name has not been disclosed.

This summer, the US state Department has notified the mission of the Holy see that one of her employees is suspected of violation of us laws restricting the trafficking of child pornography. Due to the fact that the offender likely had diplomatic immunity, he could not be detained on the territory of the United States.

July 11, 2015 it was reported that the former Archbishop and papal Ambassador to the Dominican Republic Josef wesolowski (Jozef Wesolowski) appeared before the court for abuse of children. Wesolowski was recalled from the Dominican Republic in 2013. The local press accused him that he paid boys for sexual acts. After the arrest, the Polish Archbishop, investigators found child pornography on his computer.
